Agents of SHIELD new tv show

Now as many of you know I am a huge Comic Book geek so the Agent's Of Shield was on my number one list when they announced it last year.

So I have been watching the show and I am really excited with all the tie ins and what they can do with the story lines of upcoming movies. It makes me more then excited.

I really like Skye. She is an interesting character. I really can't wait to see her story unwind.

Right now this is one of my favorite shows on tv. :D

Are you watching?

For Your Lips Lip Balms in Watermelon and Pink Lemonade

I was at Walgreens picking up some random stuff the other day when at the checkout line they had these lip balms on sale for 2 for $3. I saw there were two different flavors, Watermelon and Pink Lemonade. Since I didn't know the brand I thought why not pick up these lip balms. I love lip products so I have a few hundred of them.

These lip balms have spf 15 in them. The pink Lemonade lip balm has a more medicinal smell then a Pink Lemonade smell to it. On the other hand, the watermelon lip balm smells like watermelon.

The lip balms are made in USA. I like them. They are a good product. It feels good on your lips and has a nice smell to them. They have a chapsticky feeling on your lips and don't taste terrible.

If you are looking for some lip balm and you run across this brand, I would pick some up. It runs about the same cost as other lip balms that you may find in the drugstores. It is worth a go for sure.

Law and Order SVU intense tv

So I am a huge crime show tv fan. I watch far too much tv in general. But I love Law and Order SVU, but I am not digging this season as much as past seasons. I am a little bummed, I am hoping it picks up. I might just be coming down from the Summer seasons and how good some of them were.

I really like that the show hits on hard issues that people aren't always ready and open to discuss. I like that it brings things out into the open.

I am sad that this week is Richard Belzer's last show. I have enjoyed his character on the show, and everytime I say that I will never like a character as much as the last I am proven wrong. I don't stop loving my original characters but I do grow a fondness for the new.

McDonald's Pumpkin Pies

I know most people despise McD's because it is so unhealthy. I don't hate it I believe in everything in moderation. That being said I don't really like the pies they sell, but this one for the autumn season is actually pretty good. I like pumpkin pie for about 3 months a year, for whatever reason I lose interest in it about that time in November, not really burnt out on it but I just stop wanting it.

So with the cues of like Jack in the Box's Pumpkin Pie Shake, which I have at least 5 of during its short seasonal run, McDonalds added the Pumpkin Pie bars and they are pretty delicious.

So if you like the pies at McD's why not give the pumpkin ones a try. They are pretty good. They didn't pay me to say this. I just like them and wanted to share with you.

"The QuarterBack" Glee's Goodbye Finn and My personal experiences.

So most people who follow entertainment know that Cory Montieth who played Finn on Glee died last month of a heroin overdose. I know this doesn't have much to do with makeup, but it has to do with something I love and I write about non makeup things all the time. I kept telling myself I would watch it when I get caught up on Glee(I'm behind because Mr. Kitty hasn't wanted to watch and we were watching it together, so I am behind, along with quite a few other shows Im really annoyed at being behind on). But I knew if I did that I might never get caught up on Glee because I would push it off forever. Since the episode doesn't follow story because it is a tribute episode I decided last night to bite the bullet and watch it. The opening number was Seasons of Love and from that moment I balled my eyes out.

Now for me this was a truly personal episode because I know Rachel's heartache. My high school sweetheart committed suicide in 2009. He did it on the two anniversary of our breakup. It was devastating for me. I had loved him since I was 15. I am 27 now. I didn't know how to respond, I fell apart and spiraled out of control. I still have days where I feel lost. I mean honestly how do you get over losing someone, especially someone you love. He and I had broken up, bur we talked almost everyday. I spent most of my time telling him if he was willing to go to therapy with me I would be willing to start over and him telling me no.

I am lucky to have someone in my life who understands my brokeness and is there for me now.

TearDrop by Lauren Kate

Lauren Kate wrote a wonderful trilogy called Fallen and so when I saw this advanced reader copy I knew I just had to get it.

I loved Teardrop, it's a book about a girl who's tears can bring back the lost city of Atlantis. So beautiful. I love the sea, it's enchanting and I love Lauren's writing. She entrances you with her words and you feel for her characters. I really enjoyed reading this book.

It comes out October 22, 2013 and you will be able to grab it on amazon or at your local bookstore.

Amazon's Blurb about the book:

The first in a new series by Lauren Kate, the #1 New York Times bestselling author of the Fallen series, TEARDROP is an epic saga of heart-stopping romance, devastating secrets, and dark magic . . . a world where everything you love can be washed away.

Never, ever cry. . . . Eureka Boudreaux's mother drilled that rule into her daughter years ago. But now her mother is gone, and everywhere Eureka goes he is there: Ander, the tall, pale blond boy who seems to know things he shouldn't, who tells Eureka she is in grave danger, who comes closer to making her cry than anyone has before.

But Ander doesn't know Eureka's darkest secret: ever since her mother drowned in a freak accident, Eureka wishes she were dead, too. She has little left that she cares about, just her oldest friend, Brooks, and a strange inheritance—a locket, a letter, a mysterious stone, and an ancient book no one understands. The book contains a haunting tale about a girl who got her heart broken and cried an entire continent into the sea. Eureka is about to discover that the ancient tale is more than a story, that Ander might be telling the truth . . . and that her life has far darker undercurrents than she ever imagined.

I am so excited for the next book in the series.
