My Little Pony Nail Polishes from Hot Topic

I ended up picking these adorable nail polishes because I am a huge MLP (My Little Pony, both friendship is magic and the original ponies from the 80's.) I have been collecting as my mother puts it from before I was born. I own somewhere near 1000 maybe more. I someday plan to display them all in my makeup room on shelves. They are a good link to my past.

Now I got 2 polishes that day a purple and a white sparkle. I liked them. They don't go on globby, they look nice and the white sparkle is a almost sheer polish with a ton of white glitter that make it almost seem like a white shiny polish instead of glittery.

There is one thing I dislike about them, the glitter on the cap, it makes it hard to open and the glitter comes off on everything. I might just clean off the caps, because I would rather it didn't.

Finding a Charm Locket on the Cheap

The first time I saw the little magnetized lockets with the charms in it, I fell desperately in love, then I saw the price and I instantly was brought back to reality. I own a lot of expensive jewelry that I already don't wear, so I didn't need another piece I would wear for a short time and not touch again. (Need to make a necklace rack.. must do it.) So I was saddened since I really wanted one, I've drooled over them online ever since.

Today I was out doing the Grand Opening for a Victoria's Secret PINK store (and got the PINK Angel Card, I'm so screwed, lol) I decided to walk around the mall a bit because I wasn't ready to go home and start working on auctions, or online stuff. I hit up a couple different stores including Benefit (you will see my score there shortly.) and ran across one of those cheap jewelry/accessory stores. I walked around inside not really seeing anything that caught my eye until I saw it, the spirit locket on a chain for $2.99. I ran over and instantly started going through the 99 cent charms. Yes they aren't expensive but they are some of the same charms I have seen at trunk shows. I was overly excited. I got a heart shaped locket that really locks well. I picked out a T and a J each with rhinestones. Then I picked up a little cat, lastly I picked up some playing cards and dice. I wish they had a little heart, but I will be looking for one.

So for $8 I picked up something that would have cost me $50 plus anywhere else. I am so happy with it, It is the exact same locket I have seen before, so I love getting things cheap.. yay.

Revlon's The Balm Sundays by the Siene and Legally Regal

I purchased these beauties right before I left for Las Vegas last week and wanted to share them with you all but got a bit sidetracked so here they are in all the glory of tinted balm. I picked the blue because I wanted to see what it would look like and the pink looked pretty. I pick colors a lot without ever looking at swatches, I guess I should check out colors more often. I like them both. I don't think they show up much on lips, they are more a sheer slightly tinted balm then anything else.

There are lots of great lip balms out there and I think this is in the top of them. It looks good, does your lips good and feels great on your lips.

Eggo Wafflers my biggest weakness

Now I am not usually allowed to buy these delicious waffles of oh soo tasty goodness, but Target was having a sale and he wasn't with me to tell me No, so I walked out of the store with 3 boxes.. YAY. His reasoning behind why I shouldn't have them is sane, I eat a whole box in a sitting.. because they are straight up delicious. They don't need syrup and they taste like heaven.

I have only had one of the flavors but it is literally one of my top favorite foods.

I just wanted to talk about these because they are so good. I love the cinnamon swirl ones. I had them for breakfast.

RIRI loves MAC launches in the morning

MAC is launching a new lipstick for Rhianna tomorrow. It is to be released at noon eastern time. The new color is a variation of Ruby Woo. I like the color but its not me. I don't really buy MAC LE's. Usually later on, when I want the packaging.

OPI by Sephora What Aura You Going to Wear

Now I bought the women's fragrance sampler because I am very partial to tiny perfume bottles and because it is an incredible deal. For $50 you get 6 mini perfume bottles, a nail polish and a full size bottle of perfume of your choice. I got 15% off mine because I am a VIB at Sephora. YAY.

The Nail polish that came with the set is called What Aura You Going to Wear. I will be swatching it in this post and will be talking about the perfume set itself in another post.

The color is a very vibrant bright pink. It goes on almost gel like. It is extremely shiny and gorgeous. I still have it on and normally I don't leave swatches on that long.

42 Movie Review and Makeup Look

Now there is so much I have to say about this movie because of my love for Baseball and more so for the love of people who have changed the way things are in any facet of our lives. The movie was wonderful. I loved it.

Growing up I watched a lot of baseball and I played Softball for a couple years. I didn't follow it into high school, because in junior high I got majorly involved in theatre arts and my time was lost to that. My father was a minor league baseball player. I can say how incredibly proud I am of him. He was supposed to move on to the major leagues but his shoulder would not allow it. If he had played any other role then pitcher he might have had a chance but a torn shoulder is the end of a career for a pitcher. I wish that his life had been different, that he could have had all of dreams come true. I was a pitcher when I played. A fairly good one at that, I was always being asked to move into the boys baseball team because they needed a pitcher.

Jackie Robinson was a part of baseball history in that he changed the way of thinking for so many people. More on that he was a person of great integrity he stood tall and quiet and allowed the world to beat on him, for a greater good. There is so much to respect in that. He was also an incredible ball player. I have a few books on him and love hearing his story.

The movie centers on his life as he is brought into major league baseball and the hardships he faced. It shows the people that stood up and defended him and the people who were too coward. I really enjoyed the way the movie made me feel and think. It had a wonderful message for all of us. I thought the actors did a wonderful job. I loved the actor that played Jackie Robinson. It really is a feel good movie, it reminds us in all the bad there is in the world there are people who will stand up against it.

I can't wait to buy this one on DVD. It will definitely live on in my collection.

So I painted my nails for the movie. I used 2 sinful nails. One white and one blue. I used a MLP nail polish in white sparkle and Maybelline Color Show in LE color Blast of Blue.
