MAC is releasing a ROCKY HORROR collection OMG

Rocky Horror entered my life 15 years ago.. It changed my life in lots of ways, from the friends I have made and the body confidence I found while attending. Though I rarely go nowadays, mostly just for special events and birthday shows, it has never left my heart. I am stoked that MAC is teaming up with the film for it's 40th Anniversary to do something that appeals to me in a giant way. I can tell you I will be buying most of this collection.

The Collection will hit stores and online on October 2nd.

The collection for MAC will feature a range of products including Lipsticks (hoping for the red to match the Science Fiction Double Feature Lips), Lip Pencils, a Shadow Palette, Powders, Blush, Liquid Eyeliner, Lashes, Glitter, and Pigment. With Columbia's outfit I can tell you there is no way they would leave out glitter for this collection.

Executive producer Lou Adler is stoked about the film’s 40th anniv, noting, “It is hard to believe it has been almost 40 years since we released The Rocky Horror Picture Show, but as we approach this milestone anniversary, the film is as outrageously entertaining and relevant as it ever was. It has certainly taken on a life of its own, and continues to transcend generations and hold a solid spot in pop culture year after year.”

I can't wait to get all of this collection. I am sure to grab the lipsticks, pigments, blush, powder and the palette. This is going to be an expensive collection for me.

Now the chance is yours to finally strut your stuff in authentic Rocky Horror Makeup.

Maybelline's Master Glaze Blush Stick in Pink Fever

Now I never really used to wear blush. I never thought much about it until I started doing a lot of photos and seeing my face washed out without the little bit of the pink on my cheeks.

So I have been on a search to find a good blush. This is the first one I bought and I am really liking it so far.

The color is very intense and looks great and it is very blendable. I love how soft it feels and the way it has a real good staying power.

I haven't had the chance to try out the other colors that are in this line, but I am very excited to get the rest of the line. I am more a pinks and reds type girl, but I want to start trying other colors so I can play around more with makeup as I do more cosplays and costumes.

Charlotte Ronson Double Ended Blush/Bronzer in Abby

I was out at a little Mexican karaoke bar next to a Sephora in Santa Monica last night so I snuck over to Sephora when the rest of my party was chatting. I always try to find something new to check out at Sephora.

Since it has been a while since I have been online I wanted to start bringing you reviews again even while I don't have internet at home. It makes posting tough but I have New Years resolutions to keep up. :D

I saw the Charlotte Ronson blush and Bronzer combo and since I had never tried it and I also am looking for a new blush for my days out. Since one of my resolutions is to start wearing makeup since I love it and part of me is so busy I don't treat my skin the best so I want to get my skin into better shape.

This blush/Bronzer combo named Abby comes with a blush in a deep coral and a bronze in an almost deep bronze color. The container is a cute tube with the caps both being covered in flowers designs. It is very cute and the caps are very nicely clicked so I don't worry too much about the product getting all over my makeup bag.

It looks extremely pigmented and the colors are so beautiful. I picked this up at my local Sephora.

Ipsy February 2014 bag

This months Ipsy subscription came in a pink bag with a pink animal print on the inside of the bag. I love makeup bags and my heart is still heavy that almost all my ipsy bags were stolen. But we will rebuild.

Here is all the stuff that came in my Ipsy bag this month. I will review all the different products in the bag this month. Look forward to those posts. They will be upcoming.

NYX Mortal Instruments Set

So I saw this at the Generation Beauty Event and I just had to have it. I totally love the box. It is beyond cute. I am super excited for the movie it comes out on my birthday. I even bought one of the dresses from the movie to wear when we go see it. Yes I am a costumer I can't let go of that :D.

The set is really cute, though I already owned most of the stuff that came in the box, since it's just separate things that you can buy elsewhere, nothing limited to the box. Which made me a little sad, but it's ok I am going to keep the box anyways.

The box contains a look book that shows you how to do a day look and a night look.

The Smokey Eye pallete, I already have one of these, so I might do a giveaway with it, or I might give it to a friend.

A soft matte lip cream in a nice pretty pink.

A boudoir mascara, I can never have to much mascara.

A powder blush in a pretty pink almost coral color.

A liquid eyeliner. I prefer this over pencils, but I will say I adore the Buxom pencils.

And a jumbo eye shadow pencil in a goldish color.

Overall it is a great box. You can pick it up at your local Ulta while they still have them.

Benefit Cosmetics GWP

Today while I was out I saw that Macy's was having an event free make overs and lots of free gifts with purchase. I sent my mother over to get her makeup done. I walked around and looked at all the different things that were for sale. Most of the gifts weren't anything I really wanted.

I saw the bag that they were offering at Benefit and I really wanted it. I love the design on the bag and I love makeup bags. ( I am actually in the market for the Snow White and the Huntsman bag, because I adore it. I have a Cinderella bag and about a million other ones.)

The gift with purchase was gotten if you bought 3 items. So I bought 3 of the mini kits, mostly because I love mini bottles and it was the best way for me to try out a lot of different products for a lot less money. This way I have quite a few products to try out for you rather then one product. I like the odds better. I am really bad about trying to get the most out of my purchases. So you will always see lots of stuff from my posts and my cash.

I bought 3 of the mini sets. One was even discounted to $9. The sets I got were:

Tan About Town

The total moisture kit

and the poreless deluxe kit which I don't have a picture of because I gave it to my mother.

the GWP I got from this was gorgeous and some deluxe sample sizes
