Sea Lore Polish Arista and Ariel Indie Polish

I got these little beauties in the mail recently as part of a swap. Both colors are beautiful and named after two mermaids. I love the design on the bottle.

The Ariel polish is a green sparkle with mini green glitter, with slightly bigger red squares and purple hexagons. It would love amazing over a blue polish or maybe a teal. It doesn't take a lot of coats to get the glitter on your nails.

The Arista color is a red holo polish with tiny glitter and hexagon glitter. It is absolutely gorgeous. It goes on cleanly and dry pretty quickly. It is a sheer polish mostly.

I painted my nails. The thumb with Ariel, my pointer ringer with Arista, my middle finger has a coat of Anise VaVa Bloom with Ariel over it, my ring finger is Arista again and my pinkie finger is a mini blue sparkle OPI (that I don't have a name for) with a coat of Ariel on top.

I really like both polishes. I am very happy with both of them. I am really getting into the indie polishes. I can't wait to get more of her polishes. They are gorgeous.

A Quick Run to the Mall Freebies and scores

I really wanted some Mongolian BBQ tonight and so I got my boyfriend to come out with me to go to the mall, he was hungry too, so it's easy to get him to come along with me. I didn't tell him I wanted him to come along because it is so close to his birthday and that means free stuff at Sephora.

We got to the mall and I ran over quickly to Aeropostale to get the free lipglosses they were giving out if you brought in a coupon. I had printed one for me and one for him. They only had 2 left at my store. So we were super lucky. I liked the rainbow lipgloss but that wasn't part of the promotion.

Next we hit the puppy store,we can't miss the puppy store everytime we go. We both really want a dog. They have the cutest pups and I danced with one little hyper puppy. Someday I will have a dog. It's in our big book of plans.

Then we hurried over to Spencer's because I really needed some more Nail polish remover pads because I have one left in my container. I found my favorites at this store for a $1. How can I beat that, so I grabbed 3 of them.

Then we went and got dinner. I was super hungry being 8pm at night and hadn't eaten all day. I was painting,(not the best I've done, but i like them) and totally forgot to eat. I got Mongolian BBQ which I had been craving, with no meat, the only way I like it. I would eat it more often but it is incredibly unhealthy but super delicious.

Then we ran over to Victoria's Secret and grabbed my free Fragrance Mist. I got a coupon for it in the mail. I got Pear Glaze. I like the scent so I am happy with it.

We popped over to Sephora and I used a free $5 giftcard I got to get some Matte Nails Inc nail polish, I got some samples, and a 100 point item of Stila Peony Blush/Lip Duo. Then we picked up my boyfriends birthday gift which he got the Benefit for me, since he doesn't like beauty products even like male moisturizers won't touch them.

Lastly I hit the MAC store looking for the Heroine Lipstick, they didn't have it so I ran over to Nordstorm's Mac and they didn't have it either but they had Embrace Me so I got that instead. I love the color, so not a loss.

That was my hour and a half trip to the mall. Lots of stuff and I only spent $30 out of pocket with buying dinner.

My Crafting Days

I try to spend a day a week doing something crafty, it keeps my brain active and makes me feel productive. Last week I was designing clothing. Nothing to special just having a little fun with paints, and this week it is shoes. If the shoes come out the way I want them I will definitely post a picture, but hopefully the next things I do are as much as I like them so I can show off stuff.

I want to do more scrapbooking and more book making. I love being creative. I want to build a nail polish holder and a jewelry frame.

1.) Would you rather lose all of your mascaras, eyeliners, lipsticks, and lipglosses or lose all of your palettes and eyeshadows?

Thats incredibly hard. I LOVE lipstick and eyeshadows almost equally.

2.) Would you rather chop off all your hair or never be able to cut it again?

Never cut it again. I chopped off 25 inches a while back. Never again.

3.) Would you rather have a coral cheek or a pink cheek?

Pink Cheeks. Love it.

4.) If you had $1000 to spend, would you rather buy clothes or makeup?

Both. Lots of clothing and lots of makeup. Im a thrift store junkie so it would be lots of clothing for me.

5.) Would you rather apply lipstick as eyeliner, or eyeliner as lipstick?

I would use eyeliner as lipstick, but I am not sure I would use lipstick as eyeliner since its so creamy.

6.) Would you rather only shop at MAC or Sephora?

Sephora.

7.) Would you rather only use one eyeshadow color or one lip color for the rest of your life?

I don't really know I really love doing both rainbow lips and rainbow eyes. So I don't know which would be easier to let go of eyeshadows or lipsticks.

8.) Would you rather wear winter clothes in summer or summer clothes in winter?

Summer clothes in the winter but I wear a jacket all year wrong I am a lizard.. i have internal body temperature.

9.) Would you rather have dark nails or bright nails all year round?

Bright nails with dark accents.

10.) Would you rather give up your favorite lip product or your favorite eye product?

Favorite eye product. I don't keep to one eye product but i have a few lipsticks and lip balms i am in love with.

11.) Would you rather only be able to wear your hair in a ponytail or a messy bun?

I wear a ponytail all year long. i should wear it differently

12.) Would your rather never be able to paint your nails again or never use lipgloss?

I dont really like lip gloss. so out with the lipgloss.

13.) Would you rather shave your eyebrows and have none at all or sharpie them in everyday?

i dont know. i don't do anything really do anything at all with my eyebrows

14.) Would you rather live without makeup or nail polish?

I don't really know either way. i love both but i use makeup occasionally and use nail polish more often.

My haul from my outings in LA this week

So while in LA this week I got quite a few things. I was glad to be able to hit some stores that aren't anywhere near where I live.

I had the chance to get some awesome things. I spent a little bit too much money while out but I kept finding some great amazing things.

I first started at Kitson LA where they have one to many things that I want. I love all the cute little things they have all over the store. I went specifically to grab a NCLA nail polish, since I have heard about them over and over. I picked up one Peachy colored polish. You have already seen the post on my blog here a few days ago. I know this is a little late, just haven't been able to get pictures taken of everything.

Then we walked over to Sephora and I picked up the Jasmine Collection Compact Mirror. I really wanted it and I couldn't wait to get it.

Then we walked over to Hot Topic I wasn't going to get anything then I saw the Alice in Wonderland leggings for my mother and had to get them, the Little Mermaid leggings were half off because I got my mother the Alice Leggings. As I was walking out I saw the My Little Pony Nail Polishes were $2 each. I had to get them. I wish they had the other 2 so I could get the whole set.

Bath and Body Works new Lotions

I went to Bath and Body Works this week because I had a coupon for a free min bottle of any signature collection. I have probably 100 bottles from the store, mostly mini's I grab every new scent as it comes out in it's mini version. I don't use lotion that often so it's one of those problems I have with getting things I don't need, but I get them for free or for $1. When they do the 75% off sale I get them for $1.25 so I grab a bunch that smell nice. I put them in friends giftbaskets, or for when I do giveaways and contests either through my blog or when I do events. I absolutely love doing nice things for people. I enjoy watching people get excited over things.

So when I went in they had just come out with Beautiful Day which I have a couple of the roller balls for so I grabbed the mini lotion for it. Smells really nice.

The great part of the deal though was its the first week of the preview of the next set of scents they will be releasing all based off an italy scent.

They are Venice Dolce Berry, Rome Honeysuckle Amore and Capri Seaside Citrus. I absolutely love the mini bottles. These bottles are smaller then the regular minis and they sell them for 2 weeks for only $1 to preview the new scents before they bring out the product in full size. Someday I will post a picture of my collection.

The Venice Dolce Berry smells beautiful like berrys, I love the Honeysuckle Amore because as a kid I used to eat honeysuckle so it brings back good memories. The capri seaside citrus has a simple citrus smell. I think I like the Honeysuckle the best.

GlitterDaze Iris a Indie Brand

I bought some GlitterDaze the other day because I love supporting the Indie Nail Polish brands. I bought this one because the nail of the polish was Iris which is the name of a song by my favorite band The Goo Goo Dolls. So that was the reason I choose to purchase this one over others. I had never tried this brand and thought why not give it a try.

Iris is a clear polish with a rainbow set of glitters. I really like all the different colors in it. You can see here how pretty it is over Anise's Sea Siren.

It goes on pretty nice and like all glitter polishes if you want real thick glitter coverage let the first coat dry and then coat it again.
